ALEC MEZA, a New Jersey native, started writing and recording music when he was just 14 years old, producing and recording tracks on garageband and uploading them to soundcloud. Over the next couple of years, these demos led him to put a band together and bring these tracks to the stage – opening for the likes of PnB Rock, Ski Mask the Slump God, Wax, Lupe Fiasco & many more.
By 20 years old, Alec began playing at venues in the tri-state area as a headliner. Whether it be “The Crossroads” in Garwood, New Jersey, or the “House of Independents” in Asbury Park, Meza sold out each event. Now, at 26, Alec takes the stage with friends, all of whom are jazz musicians, songwriters, producers, Berklee college alumni. The talented bunch are taking a new direction with a gritty punk attitude to unveil the newest chapter in the young artist’s career. These shows are debuts of the soon-to-be-released EP, AH! REAL LOVERS!
With electrifying energy, crowd control and infectious dance moves, Alec is setting out to broaden his live performance niche from the tri-state area to festival stages & larger venues across the globe.
